The Last Skeptik
2014 saw Skeptik unleash his highly anticipated ‘I Don’t Even Like You’ EP on BBE Records, alongside his 9 piece live band show and writing and producing for a bevy of artists such as Mikill Pane, Bonkaz, Nick Brewer, Rizzle Kicks, Lunar C, Scrufizzer, Trim, Dream Mclean, ITCH and FEMME – an undeniable all-rounder in the production game constantly displaying eclectic abilities with a multitude of diverse styles.
Add to that scene stealing DJ sets around the world, from Coachella to SXSW and supporting Charli XCX, and opening up for the likes of 2Chainz, Childish Gambino, and Wu Tang Clan, as well as performing as part of Damon Albarn’s Africa Express.
With a well-deserved break from touring and his live shows, Skeptik has produced his latest solo EP ‘Revenge is the Best Success’ slipping in and out of HipHop at its bones and fusing any style that presents itself in an incredibly artistic way. The debut track from his latest project, ‘Tomorrow’ features Dream Mclean and Matt Wills and is a ‘procrastinators anthem’ – if this is the result of procrastination then we need more artists to start distracting themselves.
