Kat Deal is a young singer from London with a unique sound that has been described as soul-influenced pop with gospel undertones. Kat’s influences span the spectrum of jazz to pop taking in everything in between. A multi-instrumentalist, Kat has performed multiple live sessions for BBC Introducing as well as singing with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra.
After racking up a number of noteworthy fans already – from Judie Tzuke and Robin Millar (Sade) to Kwabs, Kat is ready to introduce her own original sound. A metaphorical rain dance to wash away the bad and let the good grow again, Kat’s creativity and lyrical depth only serves to reaffirm why she has such musical luminaries already following her with interest.
“I’m on my knees, begging for the rain to fall on me. I’ll send my prayers above, armed with my faith and love. Let it rain”
